Domagnano, May 28th, 2022 – The AMPAM Project – Mobile Clinic for the Prevention of Cardiovascular Risk of the Order of Malta’s Embassy in San Marino started today in Domagnano in front of the Montelupo Room. The project is held in collaboration with the Delegation of Eastern Emilia – Romagna fo the Order of Malta, with the support of the Global Fund for Forgotten People.
For ten days between May and September 2022, the Embassy of the Order of Malta in San Marino sets up a mobile clinic where doctors and nurses offer a cardiovascular risk assessment service free of charge to all citizens.
The Doctor, after a brief anamnestic investigation, communicates the measured values of blood pressure and total cholesterol and the presumed level of cardiovascular risk according to the 2021 Guidelines On Cardiovascular Disease Prevention In Clinical Practice prepared by the ESC – European Society of Cardiology. The Doctor also provides advice on lifestyle, nutrition and physical activity that can help reduce cardiovascular risk.
The project will take place in several locations.
In Domagnano, in front of the Montelupo Hall: Saturday 28 May, 9 July, 23 July, 6 and 27 August
In Valdragone, Sanctuary of the Immaculate Heart of Mary: Sunday 5th and 12th June
In Dogana, Church of Maria Ausiliatrice: Sunday 26 June and 11 September
In Murata, Parish of Sts. Pietro, Marino and Leone: Sunday 25 September
