On Monday, 20 November 2023, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to the Republic of San Marino Marcello Celestini and the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Luca Beccari regarding the opportunity to organise an official visit by the Grand Master of the Order of Malta Fra’ John Dunlap to the Captains Regent of the Most Serene Republic of San Marino.

Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Beccari expressed his full availability for this meeting and planned to send a verbal note to the Order of Malta’s Chancellery to propose dates, presumably in the first quarter of the new year.
