San Marino, 2-3 June 2023 – H.E. the Amb. Prof. Marcello Celestini attended the «International Conference on Knightly Orders and Award Systems in the reality of the XXI Century» organized by the Secretariat of State for Foreign Affairs on the occasion of the centenary of the foundation of the Equestrian Order of Sant’Agata.

The Conference opened by the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Luca Beccari, met with great success in terms of audience and content due to the depth of the topics covered, all anchored to the founding values of the Republic of San Marino. On the same opening day, a greeting message received from the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Italian Republic, Hon. Antonio Tajani, was read out, who recalled the relevance of the Chivalric Orders and Award Systems, emphasizing “the degree of depth and excellence of the relations that Italy and San Marino maintain in the sign of sincere friendship and the centuries-old brotherhood of the populations”.
