Rome, November 15th, 2021 – In the historic headquarters of the Casa dei Cavalieri di Rodi (House of the Knights of Rhodes) the Head of the Civil Protection Service of the Republic of San Marino , Ing. Pietro Falcinoni, and Dr. Giovanni Strazzullo, National Director of CISOM – Italian Relief Corps of  the Order of Malta, have signed an operational protocol for the better implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding stipulated on 22 April 2015 between the Order of Malta and the Republic of San Marino.

The protocol, which will make the already fruitful collaboration between CISOM and San Marino Civil Protection easier and more intense, is the result of the talks organized last summer by H.E. the Amb. Prof. Marcello Celestini, Ambassador of the Order of Malta to the Most Serene Republic of San Marino, which was attended by Ing. Pietro Falcioni and by CISOM’s Emilia Romagna Corps Chief Arch. Alessandro Cingolani.
